Secure RapidPay Service

T.I.P. REC is 100% committed to the security of our member’s electronic data and personal information. As part of that commitment we are implementing updated credit card processing procedures. These new procedures will better protect member data when processing credit card payments for your account.

Beginning 12/1/2018 T.I.P. REC staff will no longer process credit card transactions via telephone or “card not present” scenarios.

All “card not present” credit card transactions will have to be processed by our RapidPay service. Our office staff will be able to transfer your call to RapidPay if you call the office to make a payment.

T.I.P. REC provides numerous payment methods to our members. You can pay your bill each month via the following:

  • Mailed by check

  • 24 hour drop box by check at Brooklyn or Sigourney

  • In person by cash, check or credit card at Brooklyn

  • Online or Mobile via your SmartHub account (checking/savings or credit/debit card)

  • Online via RapidPay portal (checking/savings or credit/debit card) 

  • 24 hour RapidPay IVR system by dialing 888-999-0275 (checking/savings or credit/debit card)

  • ACH (automated bank draft from your checking or savings account on the 18th of each month)

SmartHub enables you to control your account from the web and/or a mobile app. Payments can be processed from credit/debit cards or linked directly to your bank account and paid with the click of a button. You also have access to your electric daily usage, past bills, and in the future will be able to contact our office or be notified of things like maintenance and outages effecting your service.

Our automated payment option continues to grow in popularity due to its ease of use and overall convenience. We have included a copy of the ACH enrollment form on the reverse side of this letter. If you’d like to enroll in the automated bank draft, just complete the form and send it back into the office with your next payment.
